Martin Luther King's Shattered Dream "I have a dream" is a phrase heard by more than 200,000 Americans on August 28, 1963, and since then, Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I have a dream" has resonated through millions of heads and thoughts in the world. Eyes search for the reality of his dream, ears search for the freedom bells ringing, hands search for a brother's hand, and mouths search for the songs of freedom. Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamed of a utopia where the colors of black and white would become so intertwined that shades of gray would appeared. Martin Luther King, Jr. charged the American people to go out and create a perfect place, and many people have tried, but as long as antiquated moral values remain, America will never fully wake up from the nightmare of racism and enter into the dream of equality. Of course, not all race relations today are a nightmare; Americans have risen above some of their petty prejudices and biases. During the sixties, black people were forced to ride in the back of busses, black people were forced to stay apart from white people, black people were forced to step out of the way of white people, and black people were commonly disrespected and thought of as inferior. Because of segregation, there were different schools, different water fountains, different restaurants, and different housing areas. A black man was not encouraged to elevate in society but instead had the words "you are inferior" constantly beaten into him by the white man. Because of these practices, Civil Rights movements began to take place and people like Martin Luther King, Jr. began speaking out against the injustices toward black people. The Civil Rights movement accomplished several things: in today's society segre... ...intentionally been taught; however much I try to scrub the dark soot out of my brain, the spot remains. These spots remain on all of society as long as these thoughts and feelings remain in people's minds. King dreamed that "one day [his] four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." But, as long as white people continue their ingrown practices, this will never happen: there are bad opinions of a black and white couple, there has never been a black president, there are very few black students and teachers at McCallie, and there is not a single black family in my neighborhood. Yes, there is equality, but only between black and white Barbie dolls. King tells us to "let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee," but we fail to reach such a high expectation.

Product Launch
This essay will discuss the way to launch a new product onto the market. There are different aspects which need to be considered such as marketing, market research, advertising and market segmentation. This essay will show some pros and cons of these methods. When you want to introduce a new product onto the market, market research is important. This means to collect and analyse marketing data. There are different ways to get information about consumer preferences. An advantage of qualitative research is that you can get attitudes, opinions and observe behaviours of customers relating to a new product. I think that tasting is a good example. I could gather positive experiences with tastings. When I go grocery shopping I am sometimes able to try new products. It is a good way to get to know the flavours of new products. The quantitative research is also helpful to get numbers and statistics. In my opinion market research is necessary for product launches but it is also very time-consuming. Another aspect concerns market segmentation. Market segmentation is to divide a market into distinct groups of buyers. Market segments could be age, income, hobbies and family size. Each segment consists of people with common characteristics. The advantage of segmentation is that you can serve potential customers with the appropriate advertising activities concerning the new product. Marketing in general is highly relevant when your intention is to introduce a new product onto the market. Marketing is the management process involved in identifying, anticipating and satisfying the consumer requirements profitably. In marketing, the marketing mix is sometimes referred to as the four Ps: promotion, price, placement and product. Additions could be profit, processes and physical evidence. However, in any of these contexts the most important aspect is advertising. Advertising means to describe the product publicly and to try and to persuade people to buy it. The help of an advertising agency could be useful. An advantage is that they have resources such as knowledge about all aspects of advertising and advertising media. In addition, it consists talented advertising people who develop a media plan specifying which media ââ¬â newspapers, magazines, posters, emails will be used and in which proportions. One possibility is to use advertising slogans to attract attention. In Germany it is popular to take English slogans (Come in and find out) or wrong grammar slogans (11880 ââ¬â Da werden Sie geholfen). An advantage of these slogans is that you can keep the message, vision or jingle in mind. Other activities could be commercials on TV or radio, free gifts, Billboards along the road, print advertising like flyers or posters and banners on websites, are also popular mediums for advertising your product or service. To conclude, I have shown the most important activities relating to product launches. The message is that these activities are necessary to increase the level of awareness of new products. In addition I have demonstrated that product launches are very time-consuming and to evaluate in terms of success.

He died in Berlin, Germany on April 30, 1945, by committing suicide in his underground bunker. He was baptized a Roman Catholic and grew up singing in the boys choir. When he was younger, Hitler wanted to become a priest and would even practice long sermons. Growing up, Hitler was an outgoing young boy; however, when his younger brother died at the age of six with measles, he became very distant. While Hitler attended school he found it to be easy which resulted in good grades. After he finished grade school, he had to pick a secondary school which was between a technical and a classical school. Because Hitler had always wanted to be an artist, he wanted to attend classical school, but given that his father wanted him to follow in his footsteps, he made him attend technical school. Since Hitlers family had moved from the county the other kids in his s chool looked down on him, and because of this, it made him a lonely and unhappy young boy while attending school. In 1903, at the age of 13, his father suddenly died, and two years later his mother allowed him to drop out of school. Since he wanted to be an artist, after his mothers death in 1907, he moved to Vienna where he applied to the Academy of Fine Arts but was rejected two times. After being rejected and living homeless, Hitler volunteered to join the German army near the beginning of World War I. It was during this time that Hitler came to love war. Hitlers rise to power came after World War I when he entered politics. After Germany had lost the war, the Germans were upset with the Treaty of Versailles which put the blame on Germany for the war and also took land from Germany. During this time, Germany was in an economic depression and many of the people were poor; therefore, the time was right for Hitler to rise to power. He gave powerful speeches and the people believed what he was saying. After Hitler joined the Nazi party, he pledged that he would restore Germany back to greatness if he became their leader; therefore, he was elected Chancellor of Germany. After becoming Chancellor, he soon became the dictator of Germany. Who were the victims during the Holocaust? The Nazis targeted many groups on account of their race, beliefs, or what they did. The Jews were the primary victims during this time; however, many other groups were affected. One of the groups that Hitler felt threatened by were Jehovahs Witnesses because they stood firm in their beliefs, and when they were asked to sign documents of loyalty to the Nazi belief they refused to do so. After their refusal, they were forced to wear purple armbands and thousands were put into jail because they were regarded as being a traitor. Another group that was targeted was Gypsies. They were an inferior group and thought to be worthless. Homosexuals were arrested and sent to prison or concentration camps where they were forced to wear pink triangles to signify being gay. There were many other countless people that were targeted in the Holocaust and forced into concentration camps or killed. From the start of World War II, the Nazis moved hundreds of thousands of Jews and other victims into very small, overcrowded areas of cities called ghettoes. People had to wear badges or armbands which identified them as being a Jew, a Gypsy, gay, etc. Life was horrendous in the ghettos. There was overcrowding, plumbing did not work, and human waste and garbage were thrown into the streets. Because of the overcrowding and unsanitary conditions, diseases spread quickly through the people. A large number of people died in the ghettos due to starvation or sickness, while some killed themselves. In 1941, the Germans started to move people from the ghettos to concentration camps. They started with the people who were not useful ââ¬Å" the old, sick, and very young. The people in concentration camps were required to do forced labor or they were kept there for execution. There were five concentration camps during the Holocaust ââ¬Å" Belzec, Chelmno, Sobibor, Treblinka, and the largest on e Auschwitz. According to the Holocaust Encyclopedia, on September 3, 1941 the first gassings of prisoners occur in Auschwitz I. The SS tests Zyklon B gas by killing 600 Soviet prisoners of war and 250 other ill or weak prisoners. (Holocaust Encyclopedia). It was at Auschwitz that the lives of more than 1.1 million were taken by gas chambers, crematoriums, starvation, and disease. In conclusion, the Holocaust was one of the most horrific events that took place in world history and affected many lives. The horror began when Adolf Hitler took control of Germany in 1933 and ordered the death of countless numbers of people for different reasons.
